Description

Experience Iceland's favourite attractions with this Golden Circle sightseeing and Blue Lagoon combo tour, all from the passenger seat of a reliable 4WD Land Cruiser. This is a great opportunity for those guests looking to partake in the "big-hitters" that make Iceland such a desirable travel destination.

The day will begin with a pickup in Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. From here, you will be driven roughly forty minutes towards your first stop of the day, Thingvellir National Park. This park is the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Iceland for two major reasons; first, it is one of the only places on earth to see tectonic plates exposed from the earth, and second, because it is where the first democratically elected parliament in history was formed, established 930 AD. You will have more than enough time to observe and learn about the park, as well as revel in its pure aesthetic beauty.

The second stop of the day is at Haukadalur geothermal valley, an area of steaming fumaroles and boiling mud pool. Here, the major attraction is undoubtedly the Strokkur hot spring, erupting every five minutes or so in a fantastic visual display. The valley is also home to Geysir, a now-dormant hot spring that lent its name to all other geysers across the planet.

The third and final stop of the Golden Circle sightseeing route is Gullfoss, known as "The Golden Falls". Dropping 32 m over two rocky tiers, this waterfall is, beyond doubt, one of Iceland's most powerful and staggeringly gorgeous features. Make sure to have your camera ready for some snapshots!

Finally, you will travel to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, with the possibility for a couple of stops en-route. At the spa, you can bask and relax your muscles in the warm, revitalising water and even bag yourself a facemask or massage. After all, the silica mud at the Blue Lagoon is known for its healing properties regarding the skin.

Hurry now and you too can experience four of Iceland's most popular attractions with this amazing combo tour visiting the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon spa. Check availability by choosing a date.
