Living in Iceland, it´s hard not to notice the diverse music scene that inhabits the island. What was supposed to be an easy Friday night just turned into a festival for my senses. Down by the pond in Reykjavik you can find Iðnó, a beautiful little house built in 1897 which doubles as one of Reykjavik´s main music venues apart from being a successful café / restaurant.
Tonight Retro Stefson, the flag bearers of the mainstream music scene in Iceland, celebrated the release of their new album by putting on a show to remember. If you aren´t familiar with Icelandic music - Retro Stefson, is a good place to start!
