Little bit of snow in December 2015 in Iceland
Here you can see how winter treats us here in Iceland. It can be very beautiful, but also you will have to drive carefully, as you can see on my video. Days are getting shorter, only a few hours of daylight. But in the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and Aurora Borealis (northern lights) in the sky above.

Solar Eclipse over Iceland march 20. 2015 video and photos
Took these photos and video of the Solar Eclipse this morning near Reykjavik in Iceland. The weather was great for it! I took the video through a very dark welders glass. You can also see the darkness as you view the mountains around Reykjavik and zoom in on the sun. The sound is of the machine (excavator) and the guy working on it, who let me use the glass to video through it and take photos. It was quite impressive to see the solar eclipse and here in Iceland there was a 98% eclipse.

The first one is a waterfall that you can walk behind and it is quite impressive. It´s name is - Seljalandsfoss. Foss means waterfall in Icelandic. The second one is a few kilometers east of Seljalandsfoss and is called Skogafoss, it is also extremely beautiful and a very popular destination. You can walk to the top of it and look at it from above. As you can see in the pictures and video below - the weather in Iceland these days has been aweso
Volcano close up in Iceland video and photos
In 2010 there was a Volcano called Eyjafjallajökull that erupted here in Iceland. It made some trouble for the aviation industry worldwide. But a few weeks before that volcano, there was another one, much smaller but on the same glacier. That volcano attracted a lot of visitors and was called the "Tourist volcano". Lots of people went up to the volcano, but i did not want to walk to that volcano. So i went with a friend of mine in an airplane. You can see on the photos people went very close to the volcano. And you can see on the video that i took, that this volcanic eruption was also very i

Big Cave near Reykjavik in Iceland
About 20 minutes from Reykjavik to the east is a big cave, it´s name is Raufarholshellir. The cave is only about 10 meters from the highway and quite easy to enter and enjoy. I have shown some of my foreign friends the cave and they where very impressed by it. It is also semi-famous; as this cave was used in the movie Noah, starring Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins. The cave has holes on top - so they lighting inside it is quite good. You can see a video at the bottom of me there with a friend from Japan who loved it. Feel free to contact me if there is anything I can help you with.
Ásbyrgi - The FootPrint Of Odin
Near Husavik in the north part of Iceland is a protected area called Asbyrgi. It is believed that the horse of Odin , the Norse god, stepped one of his eight legs on the ground and formed Asbyrgi. It looks like a horses shoe from above. It is a very beautiful place, and nearby is Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe. These are my photos and a video i took there.
