As it says on the tin. Fantastic! Did it with my 12 yo son and he loved it as much as I did. Our guide Sigurður was really nice and knowledgeable and always had something ready if the weather did not permit to get to a site or to add up to the day if we had a bit more time. The back office team at Guide to Iceland is super helpful as well. All in all I highly recommend this tour even if it is a lot of driving. We were a small group therefore the mini van was super comfortable although I can see how it could get a bit crammed with a larger group (as read in previous comments). We had a wonderful trip with nice guide Hilmur!!

Unfortunately our trip was cancelled because of severe weather. However we were given an alternative for 2-day trip with a partial refund. The guide was excelent. We were a bit on a rush as we tried to fit the 3 day trip in 2 days, however everything was fine. We had enough stops to buy what we need from groceries stores. The call center from guide to iceland responds fast.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing it was! First and foremost, this tour is for a small group (max 6), so you can avoid the hustle and bustle of big groups and appreciate the tour with a more chill and relaxed vibe. It also allowed us to take enough time without being in a hurry so we could truly relish the entire experience. Don't worry about lack of experience; we were a group of 4 people and 3 of us had never tried ice climbing (and 2 of us had never climbed!). Regardless of our prior experiences, we all found it fantastic and enjoyed it a lot! I would like to thank again our guide Maksym - he took care of us very carefully and thoroughly to make sure the tour was safe and pleasant. His instructions were easy to follow even for noobs while thorough enough. Plus, the small group size and long duration time allowed us to choose what we would like to further - either more ice climbing or more walking to explore the glacier further. Although both options were fantastic, we unanimously agreed to do more climbing as it was a lot of fun ;) No need to mention how gorgeous the glacier was! The entire scenery of the tour was truly stunning. I highly recommend this tour!
