Gentle Giants Whale Watching

This was amazing! We saw a several humpback whales right beside our boat and one swam under. It was such a magical day and we are so thankful for this experience! Highly recommend!

We joined the speedboat whale-watching tour and were incredibly lucky to have Nikolina as our guide. Before the tour, we thought the most we could ask from a guide was to take us to the right place and help us find whales-but Nikolina gave us so much more than that. She shared fascinating stories and information about the whales, why they come to this area, their unique characteristics, the ocean and the surrounding mountains. What impressed us most, though, was her genuine love for wildlife and the sea. Her enthusiasm and positive energy were contagious. She didn't just make sure everyone was safe and well taken care of, she helped us feel some of the same happiness and wonder that the ocean clearly brings her. We feel truly fortunate to have had Nikolina as our guide, and Gentle Giants is equally fortunate to have her on their team. We have joined many local tours in Iceland and around the world, and we know that an experience like this should never be taken for granted.

Timely departure and return. Professional and knowledgeable guide Jon and crew. We came across a humpback whale and Jon knew when it would resurface. We managed to see it several times. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.Thanks!
