Gravel Travel

My wife, daughter and I had an experience of a lifetime, and instantly felt our connection with Iceland grew stronger after this trip. The landscapes were so surreal and unlike anything we have ever seen before. Our tour guide Magnus was so hospitable, enthusiastic and above super patient (especially with me daughter who usually has a lot of questions) He has a genuine love for the land and shows through the way he passionately shares his knowledge with everyone. His kindness and humor is also what made the tour exponentially special and made it so memorable for us.

Our guide John (spelling unsure) was great. He was informative and knew a lot about the areas we visited. The waterfalls were beautiful. The beach was neat and the ice cave was incredible. We could have used 30 more minutes at each stop to really take it all in, but there are only so many hours in a day. Great value for the price. We brought lunch but we made a stop at a market where we could have bought food had we not brought anything.

Our guide/ driver was Tor. He was very polite and provide interesting information about the northern lights. It took some time to find an opening in the night sky as it was cloudy and windy but he finally found it and we were able to see some green northern lights.

Great friendly tour. weather is the deciding factor. Andre kept us occupied and did a wonderful photoshoot as well
