Southcoast Adventure

We had a super experience on our 5-hour journey. Atlee was a knowledgeable, experienced guide who was patient with the varied levels of experience on our trek. Atlee gave us some great insight into the area, and we felt safe the whole time we hiked/climbed on the glacier. Bring a few snacks / protein bars on the trip to keep fueled. The weather changes so pack layers, and Atlee was solid on advising what was necessary to keep warm on the glacier.

I had a fantastic vacation in Iceland and snowmobiling was my favorite thing. I had never done it before, and it was a total blast! Our guides Bik and Magnus were fantastic. They were careful to make sure we all had properly fitting equipment, and were clear in explaining how to drive the snowmobile and the safety features. It was typical Icelandic snow and wind on the mountain, and I felt like I was in an action movie, tearing along after Magnus. It was so much fun! I should probably note: I'm not a young hotshot. I'm an extremely middle-aged, fat woman. Go for it!

スノーモービル未経験、夫婦で体験を申し込みました。 まず、集合場所の建物に到着すると、インストラクターの方が温かく出迎えてくれました。 その後、大きなタイヤを履いたバンに乗り、雪山へ。 登り切った所で、スノーモービルの乗り方の説明がありました。 初めての方は、事前に予習しておくと、より説明が分かりやすく聞けるかと思います。 いざ皆で発進すると、結構なスピード。とても刺激的な時間でした。 生憎の天候で、少し吹雪いていたのが、初心者の我々にとっては辛かったことです。 途中逸れそうになりながらも、インストラクターの方のサポートもあり、なんとか終えることができました。 乗り方に不安がある方は、慣れている人と二人乗り同乗も検討してよいかと思います。 日本ではなかなか出来ない経験をさせていただきました！
