The trip to the falls was very pretty. We stopped at a farm along the way and stretched our legs and had some cake and hot chocolate which was quaint. The falls are just incredibly beautiful. We had about an hour an 15 minutes at the falls and I wish we had about another 15 minutes so we weren't so rushed to walk up to the top of the trail. The guide was good but I wish he had kept his political thoughts to himself.
I expected a minibus but it was a coach, which I think was better for such a long trip - it's 12 hours. Our guide, Micah, was excellent and very approachable, with a wide ranging knowledge of the area and things associated with it. I'm so glad I did the Snaefellsness peninsula tour. The landscape and seascape are spectacular. We were fortunate that the weather was bright and sunny most of the time at about 14C with little wind, late May/Early June. The tour was well organised and plenty stops. If you don't have your own transport and your thinking about doing this tour - just do it. Memorable.

This is a great trip if you want to maximize your time in Iceland. Our tour guide, Kollin, is the best tour guide I've ever had. He is very fun and knowledgable about any topic regarding Iceland. He made the trip exciting and educational while being attentive to the group and adjusts accordingly. Highly recommend this tour!
