I would come back to Iceland just to do this tour again!! Our tour started at 9 a.m. and we were picked up right outside our hotel about 9:15 a.m. with half our tour already loaded on the shuttle. The mid-size shuttle was nice inside and offered charging ports for devices. It sat 18 people, our tour had 14 so we got to spread out. Our tour guide was amazing! He was witty and informative. He took the time at each stop to give us history. Very cool. My favorite stop of the day was Fridheimar Tomato Farm - a MUST SEE! The horse show was delightful and we got insight into their tomato greenhouse as an employee shared their history. After that, we dined at their restaurant and not only was the wine bar room jaw-dropping, the food was absolutely delicious. The best meal of the year for me. I can't stop thinking of Fridheimar and so happy we picked a Golden Circle tour that offered this option. Even though it rained on us the second half of the tour, our group had fun exploring. Only thing to note is that I wish we had more time at Gullfoss Falls. It is quite a hike if you want to walk up close to the water fall from the top viewing platform and we had to speed walk through the crowds to be able to snap a few pictures and then turn around and head back to the bus in order to make it on time. Wish we had more time here but otherwise, was very cool to see.

送迎はバス停の順らしく、うちのバス停はいつも15分後にお迎えが来ました。送迎のバスもまま乗り換えもなく出発でした。その日は市内でも見えたので期待いっぱい! 予想通りに少し走ったら右手に見えてきて、その後3箇所で停まって、ある場所では360°見えてた感じです! とっても良い時間を過ごせました。

While I prefer a smaller bus excursion, the Bus Travel coach was super comfortable which was necessary for such a long day. Our guide Sara was fantastic. She had an interesting commentary, providing us with a bit about modern life in Iceland, history, and folklore. I really appreciated her playlist. It will be a day will never forget. From walking behind a waterfall to taking a boat ride on the glacier lagoon, every moment was full of beauty.
