Troll Expeditions

This was truely an amazing trip. Our guide Thor was absolutely the best. Very entertaining with a touch of humor we learnt a lot about Iceland and we also appreciated his driving skills. It isn’t simple to drive around here in winter iin snowy weather conditions, so it was nice to just sit back and enjoy the ride and the scenery. The minivan was also very comfortable and warm. We all appreciated the super market stops. I also rented a pair of shoes and those were perfect, Shoes here have to face a lot of water / snow so very important to keep your feet dry. The included activities were definitely worthwhile. Enjoyed the glacier hike, ice cave and whale excursion and Nothern light appeared on 3 out of 7 nights. An amazing trip with memories that last a lifetime. Thank you Thor and Troll.

ガイド兼ドライバーさんは英語を話せない私に、毎回集合時間を携帯に記して教えてくれたので、安心して観光できました。だいたい1ヶ所につき30分程度の観光時間でストロックル間欠泉は昼食混み1時間程度でしたが、間欠泉が10分位に一度噴き上がるため、タイミングが合わないと昼食時間があっという間になくなるため注意した方がいいです。カフェは広くすぐ座れましたが、値段が高いので、夏なら持参のパンなどを外で食べるのもいいかもしれません。ブルゥアルフォスは写真ほどではありませんでしたが、綺麗な色の滝でした。時間がある方にはお勧めのツアーです。

スナイフェルスネス半島の王道観光ポイントを1日かけて海岸線沿いに巡っていくツアーで、非常に楽しいのでお勧めしたい。 レイキャビクからお手洗い休憩を挟みつつ約3時間程度かけて半島に向かい、まずはイートゥリ・トゥンガビーチでアザラシに癒され、次に崖の上にポツンと佇む黒い教会である、バージル教会に向かった。その後、アルナルスタピの崖の上の遊歩道を散策しつつお昼休憩。アルナルスタピは見渡す限り荒波がぶつかる切り立った崖が続き、スナイフェルスネス半島がミニ・アイスランドと呼ばれる所以を垣間見ることができた。 そして黒い砂浜とかつて沈没した英国船の残骸が残るデューパロンサンドゥルを散歩でき、映画に入り込んだかのような体験をすることができる。また、ビーチで波打ち際まで行くことができるので、迫力ある荒波を間近で見ることができた。 吹雪いてしまったのでSaxhóllには立ち寄らずに半島をぐるっと回るようにしてIngjaldshóll教会に向かった。ここは丘の上に赤屋根の小さな教会がポツンと立っており、周辺とのコントラストから背後にある氷河を冠した山々の迫力を際立たせていた。最後にキルキュフェットル山とその麓にあるキルキュフェットル滝を訪れた。おそらくアイスランドでも最も有名な山の一つを麓から見上げることができ、その不思議な形を間近で堪能することができた。 その後、レイキャビクへ戻り、各々順次バス停で降りて解散、という流れだった。 レイキャビクから半島まではそれなりに離れているため適宜お手洗い休憩や軽食購入の時間が設けられていたので、特に不安なく回ることができる。 ドライバーさんの説明も多すぎず少なすぎずで個人中には非常に楽しめたツアーなのでお勧めしたい。

I had a wonderful time on this 8-day tour. Everything was well organized, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide Iskren was very friendly, helpful, and professional. He made everyone feel comfortable throughout the trip and were always attentive to our needs. His knowledge and positive attitude really added to the experience and made the journey even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and a memorable experience. I truly appreciate the effort that went into making the tour comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
