This was fun! Relatively low-key, but a few amazing highlights. First, the waterfalls were a pleasure but especially Seljalandsfoss which you can walk all the way behind. Second, the black sand beach was beautiful. Personally, we enjoyed the basalt columns of lava rocks you could stand on. The food on the black sand beach was also surprisingly good! Third, but maybe even the best, walking to the edged of a glacier was truly sublime. Our guide was knowledgeable and had interesting stories. On the quieter side, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we really enjoyed it. Our guide introduced us to an Icelandic chocolate called Sanbó which we loved, surprisingly since it contains licorice which we don't usually like. A great cultural experience!
