了解 DC-3飞机残骸

位于冰岛南岸辽阔黑沙滩上的美军DC飞机残骸已经逐渐成为游客们喜爱的冰岛旅游景点之一

飞机残骸(DC-3)位于冰岛南部的一片荒芜而广袤的黑沙滩上,残破的粗糙金属机身在黝黑砂石的映衬下更显凄美与震撼,吸引了许多冰岛本地及世界各地的摄影师争相造访。

飞机残骸的历史

这架道格拉斯DC-3飞机(R4D-8)原属美国海军所有,是运载货物的货机。20世纪70年代,美国和冰岛签署了单边防务协议;作为协议的一部分,美国海军经常驾驶各类飞机穿行冰岛上空。冰岛是北约(NATO)成员,美军的军事基地直至2005年才从冰岛完全撤出。

1973年11月21日星期三下午约14点,航空安全网络通报:一辆美军飞机在冰岛南岸Sólheimasandur黑沙滩发生事故。飞机从冰岛东南部的霍芬镇(Höfn)起飞,搭载了7名机组人员。

飞机失事的真正原因无人知晓,有人推测是因为冰霜损坏了飞机结构,也有人说是因为飞机推进器运作异常,还有人认为是由于机组人员的人为失误。

不论事故原因为何,最值得庆幸的是在这次事故中没有任何人员伤亡。飞机迫降在沿海地区的一条冰河上,虽然冰面因飞机撞击而破裂,但飞机并未沉没,机上全员悉数安全撤离。

此后,这架DC-3飞机受到了冰岛各式各样天气的“侵袭”:暴雨、风暴、霜冻、日晒等等,如今飞机的机翼已经断裂,机尾部分也只剩下一半,相传另一半机尾被当地的农民拿去卖钱了。

可以肯定的是,这座飞机残骸是不会永远留在Sólheimasandur黑沙滩上的。黑沙滩是被冰川冲刷而出的平原,这也意味着当米尔达斯冰川(Mýrdalsjökull)下掩埋的卡特拉火山(Katla)爆发之际,随之而生的巨大冰川洪水会将飞机残骸裹挟而走。

如何到达飞机残骸

现在的冰岛南岸飞机残骸已经禁止游客攀爬了

如果想要造访DC-3飞机残骸,可以选择将租用的车辆停在入口处的停车场,然后徒步前往残骸地点, 每程徒步时间为2小时,往返需4小时。想要减轻徒步负担的话,也可以报名参加骑马旅行团,或者四驱山地车旅行团驾驶ATV前往。

不参加旅行团,游客需自行徒步前往飞机残骸。原因有二:景点所在的黑沙滩是私人领地,地主禁止游客自行开车前往飞机残骸;且根据冰岛法规,在沙滩上驾驶车辆属于在“非正规路段驾驶”的违法行为,一经查实,司机将面临高额罚款,甚至需要承担法律责任。

飞机残骸所在地的地主已设立告示牌,警告游人不要随便攀爬飞机,以免发生危险。虽然常有有游人站在飞机上拍照,但为了保证个人旅行安全,也为了保护脆弱的飞机残骸,把美景留给更多还没来过冰岛的旅人,建议您不要攀爬。
