This was a great tour which I did not put much effort in but got a rather fantastic experience. Guide to Iceland had well arranged this trip. It showed me an overview of Icelandic landscape, including beach with black gravels, ocean with sapphire-color water, plain with lava and mosses, cliffs with running waterfalls, glaciers and icebergs, and hot spring lagoon covered by vapour. With the experienced guides, I learnt a lot about geology and glaciers, and also the culture of Iceland. However, I have to say it was a quite intensive schedule and therefore I could not really spend a day in Reykjavik to know better the country. It was a bit pitiful that there was a mistake in booking my flight to Kulusuk in Greenland, but this was not the fault of Guide to Iceland. Overall, this was a great trip and the staff of Guide to Iceland were really nice. The small gift was of great help. Next time I am in Iceland, I would still choose this guide.
Hi, this was a great tour, though rather busy and tiring! It was impossible for me to pick up my welcome gift in time to use it. Two comments about the information given: (1) The 2-day south coast tour didn't mention beforehand the bike ride at the end of the second day, and I didn't realise I wouldn't return to Reykjavik until 10pm, to check into a strange hotel with an international flight the next day. There was no need for the extra activity after the glacier hike. (2) More seriously, no mention was made in the information about the Greenland trip that is was necessary to take a packed lunch. Consequently, I went hungry for most of the day. This was otherwise a stunning trip. The rest of the holiday was fine, including the hotels.
